Are all the planning tools free?
Yes. The six tools are free to use, with no sign-up. JavaScript must be enabled to create, print or download a plan.
How do the plans work?
Each tool arranges the details you enter into a summary and general prompts. The renovation budget adds your estimates; the paint tool can estimate whole containers from your figures. Each tool explains its method on the page and with the result.
Are renovation budget results fixed quotes?
No. Results are arithmetic based only on your estimates. Unentered costs are not included, and prices, availability, taxes and fees are not fetched. Independently verify the full project cost.
Does the site provide professional design or building advice?
No. Plans are personal starting points, not design, building, structural, electrical, safety, legal or financial advice. Consult qualified professionals when appropriate.
Will the site book a contractor or inspect my home?
No. It does not inspect your home, connect you with a contractor or make, fetch, validate or confirm bookings.
How is the paint quantity calculated?
If you supply surface area, coverage per container per coat and coats, the tool subtracts any opening area, multiplies by coats, divides by coverage and rounds up to whole containers. Use consistent area units and check product guidance; the result excludes waste and surface variation.
Can I use different currencies or units?
For each budget, enter every amount in the same currency; the tool does not convert currencies. For paint, use the same area unit for the surface, openings and coverage per container.
Can I print or download my plan?
Yes. After generating a plan, choose Print / save PDF for your browser’s print dialog, or Download .txt for a plain-text file. Available print options depend on your device and browser.
Are my inputs sent to a server?
The tools run in the browser and do not send or store form inputs or plans on a server. Hosting, security services and other WordPress components may process ordinary technical request data; see the Privacy Policy.
What happens when I refresh or leave?
The current form and plan are temporary and are cleared on refresh or navigation. Download or print anything you want to keep before leaving.
Are the maintenance steps safe for every home?
No. The reminders are general and may not suit your home or climate. Do not attempt work beyond your skills; stop when there is a safety concern and contact a qualified professional.
Can I use the tools on my phone or report an issue?
The layout adapts to smaller screens. To report a problem or accessibility barrier, use the Contact page and describe the page, device and browser without sharing sensitive information.
